Married Life, Religious Life and the Single Life have much in common. They each have their Joys and Sadness, their Blessings and Sacrifices. We will find our greatest joys in life by discerning and doing God’s will for our life.
It was not you who chose me, but I who chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit that will remain, (Jn. 15:16).
He speaks to us about his will for us in the peacefulness of prayer.
Prayer for discerning one’s vocation. Lord Jesus Christ, let me know clearly the work to which You are calling me in life. Grant me the grace and generosity I need to answer your call with courage and love and lasting dedication to your will. Amen.
